My guess is he was vomiting from something else, and when he got to the hospital, they discovered he had CoVid. I haven’t heard one person say they had vomiting because of CoVid. Doesn’t compute.

New variant maybe? Gain of function?

Yeah it’s hard to figure out what exactly is going on. When I had covid (and I’m high risk with COPD) the infection stayed strictly in the upper bridge of my nose and never progressed beyond that. I had a headache watery eyes and constant runny nose. But it did send my shingles out of control. I did the ivermectin/doxycycline thing and threw the kitchen sink at it with many vitamins and herbs. My friend’s son (who had 1 Moderna vax) has had covid several times and each time it knocked him for a loop. He was quite sick for more than several weeks each time. And he’s a healthy young weightlifter type in his 30’s. My sister who’s a nurse with many comorbidities has had it several times with few symptoms (she was forced by her job to take the first dose of the Pfizer shot). Just odd how everyone I know experiences these different symptoms and severities.

I vomited when I had Covid. Not excessively, but it was part of the illness.
