The largest US grid issued an Energy Emergency Alert level one, meaning it is concerned about being able to maintain adequate power reserves on July 27 as consumers and businesses turn up their air conditioners amid scorching heat.

I saw this coming years ago when the electric companies started shutting down Coal Burning Generating Plants because of EPA pressures on emissions.

Dozens of efficient, clean and modern generating facilities shut down because of stupid Woke regulation.

After all of the mythical studies saying that somehow coal ash was killing people and later that CO2 is causing environmental change, people are going to die very directly because the nation is not burning coal.

Thanks for all your hard work Watermelons.

Like most summers we’re in the 90+ heat waves so typical this Time of year. I expect more in August..... As a kid I was always so happy my birthday was in August as never had to worry about the weather affecting the event at the lake, or the pool, or at a picnic park. It would always be HOT!

Growing up in South Jersey I remember some over 90 degree days in the early 1970s. We went swimming at Centerton Lake, some sandwash, or Lake Nummy. I always loved the cedar water.
