Senile Joe’s government is petrified of Christians, Christians that pray,
What was the first thing they did during senile Joe’s Covid hoax, shutdowns, mandates? Close Churches.
I am disappointed at the very few Christians here at FR, (judging by posts).
Collective Prayer ( Biblical), spoken
outrage is needed to totally destroy the evil , from our White House, to instated government officials, to the lawlessness that has infected our society.
Make no mistake, the few of us that publicly profess our faith, are filled with righteous anger will destroy the evil, paralysis and fear that has descended upon America.

Yet, broadly speaking, it's more usual than unusual. Secular conservatives generally feel that being moral and having righteous indignation against progressive evil is sufficient guidance for their daily lives; that the Golden Rule with a very broad, "non-judgmental" belief in God will put them in good standing before an idealized tolerant Lord. Busy with "more important" workaday matters they marginalize Scripture overlooking our Lord's Atonement as a light, somewhat inconsequential thing.. And, regrettably, they fail to realize is that for each of us there is a day of reckoning in which our response to the Gospel invitation must be accounted (something the rich man in Hades discovered). The rich man's brothers had the Scriptures which they neglected as well.
Your high regard for effective prayer is mutually shared. However, as a godly exercise group prayer often amounts to childish pratter or simple froth (eg. Ahhh, ahhh, thank you God for this day and the sunshine and everyone who is here, etc." No quiet reflection, just empty flowing thoughts showing little contemplation and deliberation.
