We leave our house in Atlanta and drive north 67 miles to our rural compound and it is noticeably cooler and there is usually a breeze. By 11:00 PM we dont even need AC.

It’s generally 3-4 degrees warmer in downtown Chattanooga than it is some 15 miles away. Consistently.

I walk from the top floor to the NOT a walk out basement and it is noticeably cooler on each floor. We have lots of fans going and low humidity.
I live just SW of Denver.
