In yet another embarrassing slip-up, President Biden Tuesday accidentally provided a lowball estimate of COVID-19’s death toll — saying “over 100” Americans have died from the disease since it emerged over three years ago.
Biden, 80, committed the gaffe — which was later corrected to “over 1 million” in an official White House transcript — while announcing a new plan for the expansion of mental health care. “We’re still feeling the profound loss of the pandemic. As I mentioned, we have over 100 people dead,” Biden said at the White House.
“That’s 100 empty chairs around the kitchen table. Every single loss, there are so many people left behind and broken-hearted,” the commander-in-chief added. Though Biden’s estimate is, in theory, correct, the total number of Americans that have lost their lives to COVID-19 since 2020 is closer to 1,135,000, according to US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data.

It seems the only thing about arithmetic bottom of the school class Joe Biden understands is that he is guaranteed to get “a lot” from each of his own and/or his son’s (maybe his brother, too) extorting mega amounts of money from foreign governments and big companies seeking favors. He knows he’s got enough to buy multiple huge, fancy houses galore. Somehow I think somebody’s told him on a regular basis how much in the way of assets he has. As far as stats that relate to his job? He doesn’t know the difference among hundreds, hundreds of thousands or hundreds of millions, but he loves to quote numbers! Pathetic arrogant overconfidence that stays with him and even increases into his dotage. It’s painful to witness him in action.
My lying eyes heard Briben repeatedly say 100. The official White House transcripts need disclaimers for all of the edits they contain: "What you heard is not what Briben said."
What a doofus. It is more than 100, not over 100.
Dumber than a candied frog although that is not news to most of us here.
For the first time since he has been resident, he has said something that is true.
Sometimes he accidentally says the true part out loud.

I dont know which scares me the most. Either that he is as you described or that he is being controlled by nefarious people…perhaps his wife perhaps …who???

He doesn’t grasp what he’s saying. Anyone could put anything into his pronouncements. And probably have and often do.
