An attorney for a House Republican accused a law firm representing Hunter Biden of impersonating his office. A Biden lawyer said it was just a mix-up.
Kittila then accused a staff member in Clark's office of impersonating someone from Kittila’s staff in a call to the clerk of the Delaware court and asking to have the letter removed from court filings.
Clark responded by acknowledging that someone from one of the firms representing Hunter Biden had called the clerk but said that she did not misrepresent herself and that she said who she was and why she was calling.
The judge then asked the clerk, who backed up Kittila’s explanation. The judge then asked Clark to explain what happened or possibly face sanctions.

NBC is desperately trying to muddy and mitigate the real story, to keep their hypnotized viewers on the socialist estate.
Lawless sonsa bitches think they can do anything and they are right.
Mix up? The lawyer who did this isn’t 12 years old... she needs to be disbarred.
Yeah, someone explained what happened in one sentence on another site, it wasn’t confusing. This wasn’t a “journalist” either. This NBC blurb, had I not already known what happened, I still wouldn’t know what happened.
It actually takes real, dedicated effort to write that poorly.
.
All very innocent.
Like getting caught with a 15 yr old and failing the Drug test.
They got the United States House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee motion removed from the Federal Court Docket.
No small feat.
.
Wow
This reeks of desperation
That phone call would be recorded, right?
.
I think it’s worrisome that the Delaware judge sealed the Public info from the House Ways and Means Committee, which has the power, believe me.
Even for 24 hrs, she’s siding with the Junkie and his outlaws.
She can prove me wrong, but everyone knows they need to file a motion and they did not. It’s that simple.
I would think most judges would take a dim view of this sort of thing.
But this is Delaware.
Think if Trump’s Attorney pull that one?
We'd get a bunch of NeverTrump DeSwamptis shills scoffing at Trump's choice of attorneys, yet again.
.
Federal Charges. This is stopping an action of Congress.
They have a way of getting info from people - it’s called social engineering & pretexting. You tell a sob story or pull rank - but I really need this done, or this info (and you don’t have the credentials necessary).
This is like getting a case removed from the Court Docket by means of illegal access to the Court system.
“Pretexting is form of social engineering in which an attacker tries to convince a victim to give up valuable information or access to a service or system. The distinguishing feature of this kind of attack is that the scam artists comes up with a story — or pretext — in order to fool the victim. The pretext generally casts the attacker in the role of someone in authority who has the right to access the information being sought, or who can use the information to help the victim.”
.
I’ve never heard of any kind of ruling - EVER - go against Joe Biden in Delaware.
And he did just cure Cancer.
Did they success in removing the House letter and evidence? That’s not in the NBC report.
“Noreika also placed a temporary seal on Chairman Smith’s filing, meaning it will not be public until after Hunter’s plea hearing on Wednesday.”
.
YES!
They hoped the Govt Committee wouldn’t catch it, but the Committee Got an email - and had to refile the Motion.
They did refile.
Hunter Biden’s lawyer accused of deception
Schemed to seal bid in order to block release of damning evidence

Hunter Biden’s legal team was accused of pulling a dirty trick late Tuesday to block the release of damning evidence ahead of his pending sweetheart plea deal
Charges of favoritism and nepotism surfaced b/c Hunter’s guilty plea to federal charges of tax evasion and a weapons crime got him off scot-free.
The drama began in the morning when the House Ways and Means Committee filed an amicus brief to Delaware US District Judge Maryellen Noreika arguing that the 53-year-old had benefited from “political interference which calls into question the propriety of the investigation” into alleged crimes including money laundering, felony tax evasion and failure to register as a foreign agent.
The filing included testimony by two IRS whistleblowers who sat for transcribed interviews May 26 and June 1.
What happened next was outlined in a letter sent to the judge Tuesday afternoon by the committee’s top lawyer, Theodore Kittila.
<><>“[A]t approximately 1:30 p.m., we received word that our filing was removed from the docket.
<><>We promptly contacted the Clerk’s office,
<><>we were advised that “someone” contacted the Court representing that they worked with my office
<><>they were asking the Court to remove the damning evidence from the docket.
<><>We immediately advised that this was inaccurate.
<><>The Clerk’s Office responded that we would need to re-file.
<><>We have done so now.”
