MOSCOW, July 25. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will voice his assessment of the modern international relations system and will present some initiatives, Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov told reporters Tuesday.

"The president will make a big statement, will provide his assessment of the state of the international relations system, including the establishment of a new world order, based on the principle of multipolarity and equality of all sovereign states," the Kremlin representative said.

According to the official, "the main attention will be paid to perspectives of further development of relations between Russia and Africa with an emphasis on Russia’s assistance to sovereign national development of Russian states, on ensuring fair access to food, fertilizer, modern technologies and energy."

"Russia pays priority attention to the development of relations with African states based on principles of equality, mutual respect and non-interference in internal affairs,"

49 of 54 African nations are attending. The Africans know that long term, Russia is the source of cheap and plentiful food and energy. Plus there are no woke, trans, pervo strings attached. The Western disinfo claiming Russia is purposefully subverting noble Ukraine’s grain deal in order to starve Africans is obviously dismissed by the Africans. I’ll be interested to see the actual statements by the actual Africans about their view of Russia.

I saw video of Lavrov visiting um, Mali?
Right after the Russian song Katyusha was banned in much of the EU.

These schoolgirls, maybe 12-15, came out and sang it beautifully for Lavrov in Russian.

I will try to find that...I have it somewhere.

I don’t even trust my own government, they are corrupt crooks.
What does Russia who invaded a sovereign nation thinks the world will trust them?
China is about to do the same to Taiwan.
This is not the middle ages.
I agree in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq et al was all wrong but for only this reason, Only Congress can declare war and they did not do so.

Unstated in the Tass article, is that Putin will have to make his statement remotely, via VTC, surrogate or written statement.

As an internationally wanted war criminal with an active warrant for his arrest, Putin cannot travel in person anymore, to most countries on Earth.

Compared to Africa’s more than $3 Trillion GDP, $18Billion in trade with Russia is pretty small potatoes, as compared to The EU, USA, or China. Except for Russian weapons, other Russian imports are overwhelmingly easily substituted commodities like oil and wheat. A third of Russia’s total trade with Africa is just with Egypt. Most of the continent does little business with Russia.
