Europe died for the same reason the Americas are dying. Empire, and the clawing, greedy need to be powerful and rich.
Corporate USA wanted in on that, as they saw a place for them once Britain lost their position. Does anyone remember that after WW 1 we made England destroy most of their Navy? We lengthened 1, caused WW 2 by allowing severe sanctions against Germany. We also gave leave to the Russians to go home to become Bolsheviks. Right in the middle of WW 1, we took the place of Russia. All we had to do was keep our nose out of it all.
