“You do realize that electronic currency in and of itself is not intrinsically evil”

Here’s what you wrote...

““Digital currency is pure, unadulterated evil. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it.””

You really should proofread your stuff before you post it.

But I agree, digital currency is no more evil than guns - it’s the human who uses and controls those inanimate objects who may or may not be evil.

Yeah. It is true that everything has a duality. A hammer can make a beautiful coffee table or be used to smash someone’s head in.

So when you say a digital currency is no more evil than guns, you don’t take into account scale.

As a function of scale, when a small number of people use guns to kill, it is tyranny, misery, and death inflicted on a limited number. And yes. A lot of people with a lot of guns can sow tyranny, misery, and death on a far larger scale.

However, a small group set on implementing a global digital currency can affect millions or billions of people, sowing tyranny, misery, and death up and down the length and breadth of that population.

So it is an entirely different context of discussion.

In that light, I am guilty of not spelling out that distinction for the benefit of those who do need is specifically spelled out.
