Donald Trump's supporters in New Hampshire have a new favorite choice for vice president: They want youthful anti-woke entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy on the ticket.
He displaces Arizona's election-denying Kari Lake in the affections of MAGA world, according to a new DailyMail.com poll.
Ramaswamy, who has blitzed the early primary state with grassroots events, claims 19 percent of the VP vote ahead of South Carolina Senator Tim Scott and Lake who both take 17 percent.
It comes amid reports that Trump has cooled on Lake and days after he singled out Ramaswamy and Scott for praise while floating the idea the he could choose one of his opponents as his eventual running mate.
For his part, Ramaswamy told DailyMail.com he is in the race to win it, not settle for a runners-up prize.
Either way, it shows early state momentum for the likes of Scott and Ramaswamy, said James Johnson, who conducted the J.L. Partners poll.
'Though Vivek Ramaswamy is only the choice of four percent of New Hampshire primary voters for the presidential nomination, he has surged to the top of the table for who Trump voters want as the GOP's candidate for vice president,' he said.
'He is not the only one in contention — Kari Lake is snapping at his heels as is Tim Scott.
'But as voters settle on a top two of Trump and DeSantis in the presidential race, he does seem to be making headway in the race for Trump's attention.
'Whether he would take such a job — or if Trump would want someone with big ideas of his own in the role — remains to be seen.'
The former president told Fox News last week that he was impressed by the field running against him.

Vivek is working hard in New Hampshire. Not so much with the other second tier candidates.
He’s demonstrated that he’s not a pantywaist.
Maybe. But it’s real easy to shout stuff from the peanut gallery when you don’t have skin in the game and can’t be held accountable. Same thing as DeSantis...I’ll do this, that and the other thing. Easy things to say and talk about. Easy to talk about how you did things in Florida with absolutely ZERO opposition
Ramaswamy seems to look at surveys, see what the people are talking about and then just tells them what they want to hear as if he could just wav a wand and make it happen.
He’s still WEF to me.
They’re easily duped in New Hampshire, just look who they’ve put in office at the state and federal level.
You’re the expert.
Did I miss the part where SCOTUS weighed in on Natural Born Citizens? His parents were “immigrants” from India at the time of his birth. Throw rocks at me if you must but I didn’t agree with Obama being eligible, why would I agree that Ramaswamy is eligible. In Obama’s case, they hinged it on his Mother but at the time our Constitution was written, the Mother was a bit player in all things important. In Ramaswamy’s case, both parents were Indian citizens (as far as I can tell). Until I see the naturalization papers on his parents, He’s a no for me.
2 big pharma guys. What a win.
Vivek addresses the scholarship money, WEF, and other questions here. It’s worth a read.

Weak sauce but those who want a band aid may find one there. Part of the issue is that Vivek has scrubbed all his social media, another issue is that the details of his deals w/Pfizer & Moderna are complex and involve many private companies. There are issues raised by biotech savvy journalists.
The most accessible article exposing what Vivek is involved with, exposing a portion of the money trail, is from Forbes.
Grift capitalism is a way to destroy investor returns by using virtue signaling to hamstring companies and require a middleman who will take a fee. Vivek has started such a company. He stands to make millions.
+1
I decided recently I’d give Vivek a look. He’s very bright and offers well reasoned perspectives on what our next step should be as constitution-loving Americans.
My perspective is, if President Trump should happen to tap Ramaswamy to work in his administration—VP, cabinet or whatever—I will trust his decision. I’m sure he’ll be thoroughly interviewed and checked out before any offer is made, given Trump’s previous experience with backstabbers.
Yep, Byron has recently been spotted with Trump.
I want the indian guy to be in the administration because he has a lot of good ideas that he may have the chops to impliment. but I don’t want him to be veep. I want that to go to de santis
Vivek is the Andrew Yang of the Republican party.........
What’s obvious about it?
And which Dem/progressive/lefty has said the first positive word about him?
I’m not trying to be provocative. I genuinely want to know.
