Jake Wallin was once a small boy who sought comfort in the arms of family, terrified of fireworks that lit up the sky.
On Saturday, the Fargo police officer was remembered for growing up to be a military veteran and dedicated officer whose “final act of valor” was staring down the face of a man intent on bloodshed.
Wallin, 23, was killed July 14 when a man armed with 1,800 rounds of ammunition, multiple guns and explosives ambushed officers responding to a routine traffic crash.
Two other officers and a civilian were wounded before a fourth officer returned fire, killing gunman Mohamad Barakat. Police said the actions of the fourth officer likely spared the city a bigger, bloodier attack. *** Wallin previously served in the Minnesota Army National Guard and was deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq from November 2020 to July 2021, according to a spokesperson for the Minnesota National Guard.
He received final military honors at a private interment.
“He served his country, came back here and wanted nothing more but to serve in a position with purpose and meaning — his exact words — and he did that,” Fargo Police Chief David Zibolski said at a media briefing after the shooting.

The left has so much self hate they consider any change to traditional Americana improvement. This Syrian might be white but he is a moslem which is different from the traditional so he is to be prized and more like him encouraged to immigrate.

“Diversity is our strength” is true, very true statement. For the democrat/communist party.
It enables the destruction of a country so they can make further gains in their control.
I used to listen to Rush often, and during breaks that stupid “Diversity is our strength” commercial would play. Our country’s sheep, probably 90% of the nation, just bought into it along with the early political correctness crap and now the woke stuff.
It’s all deliberate. It’s why every single majority white country on Earth is allowing millions of low IQ non whites into their countries.
It’s also why tv and movies are constantly having white women with non white males.
There’s a group of people wanting to destroy the West.
And, ironically, they are mostly white elites.
In the USA fix is easy
#1 eliminate Democrats.
#2 eliminate Moslems.
#3 use the backhoes.
Someone who shouldn’t have been here killed someone else who probably shouldn’t have been here as well. It’s a win/win at best and a wash at worst. The propaganda just doesn’t work anymore.

I’m really surprised today that Cops today don’t approach every situation they are assigned with out assuming that some POS is going to try and kill him/her.
