I thought snuff videos are a myth? I hope they are.
I imagine some are real. A lot of deranged people out there. The Polk county (FL) Sheriff (Grady Judd) had a press conference a few weeks ago where they caught 10 to 20 guys with child porn on their computers.
Everything from babies to 14 years old.
He said some of the images showed babies, estimated to be 6 months old tied up in bondage! Somebody doing something like that and selling it for money is just one step away from killing somebody for even more money.
As said above most aren’t but some are. The Islamic beheading videos might fall into the real category.
An old law and order episode had that as a part of the plot.
There are simulated snuff films, and probably genuine films, some made overseas. Rumors that Hunter Thompson made them for Bohemian Grove or somesuch, are rumored with conspiracy theorists. It’s probably safe to say everything is much more depraved than we know, in any case.
