Okay, your opinion is fine w me, my FRiend.

I happen to love and support our pledge of allegiance, and furthermore, I see no reason to alter it.

Even a little.

So many of this 70+ year old's wonderful memories of 1950s elementary education are from patriotic songs and our wonderful pledge.

I learned so very much at a fine early age.

I grew up in a conflicted era on the cusp of changes we see today.

Part of me envies your era; I regret that ours could not resolve to prevent this and save what my grandfather’s generation sacrificed so much for without question...

...as I would also do to preserve that which remains (the Constitution).
