Establishment Democrats Can’t Ditch Biden Because Of Likable Old-Schoolers Like RFK Jr.
The Federalist ^ | July 18, 2023 | Robert Delahunty & Joe Popularis

Sticking with Biden prevents open primaries that might demonstrate the appeal RFK Jr.’s ideas have among millions of ordinary voters.

Joe Biden is a walking dead man, politically. His approval ratings are in the tank, and a stunning 72 percent of Americans think the country is on the “wrong track,” according to a recent survey. Biden’s cognitive decline is embarrassingly obvious. He is already 80 years old — the oldest president the country has ever had. He would be 86 at the end of a second term, assuming he lived that long, which troubles even his supporters.

On top of all of this, he is surrounded by the stench of corruption: House Republican investigators say they have evidence that Biden and his family received $10 million (possibly many millions more) through complicated financial back channels from Ukrainian, Chinese, and Romanian sources. Moreover, the evidence comes not only from Hunter Biden’s laptop and from the testimony of Hunter’s business associates, but from suspicious activity reports that banks filed with the Treasury.

More about RFK Jr. Iowa caucuses and NH and primary are going to be fun to watch this year. My prediction is RFK Jr. will win one or both, blowing the whole DemonRat primary system wide open, with Newsome the likely winner.

“Joe Biden is a walking dead man, politically.” And in life.

They will drop him at the last minute. He will ask his pledged delegates to vote for the next chosen son or daughter of Obama. They and the super delegates will keep RFK from even seeing the stage in prime time.

The only thing that will bollix that up is if RFK starts winning primaries.

Biden no doubt is indeed “surrounded by the stench of corruption.” But let’s not ignore that there are GOP bureaucrats that have been smelling a little funny too.

Senator Fettervegetable would like a word with the author’s characterization of Briben’s political prospects next year.

If Biden's the only one democrats can run, the perverts who own New York's ad agencies - - working with the corrupt MSM will make old President Sniffer look like an up and coming winner. The left can't do a lot but they sure know how to lie effectively.

Or assasainate him and blame MAGA, appealing to patrioyic Americans to honor the Kennedy memory the way they always have, voting Dem.

Newsom/Big Mike 2024

No way Big Mike will be second fiddle. If BM is on the ticket, he will be at the top.

Smart Democrat operatives know that Biden cannot be the candidate...his health alone disqualifies. HWearris is obviously not qualified, not as a candidate, not as a president.

We all know there is 1, and only 1, person who can replace both of them on the ticket with no repercussion .... and with a lot of forward momentum.... MO

Calling Brandon a “liability” is silly. He cannot be a liability in the Democrat designed and controlled voting system. The Democrats could run a rabbit provably born and still resident in Lower Slobbovia and the Democrat ticket would “win.” At this point it does not matter who is the Democrat president. Al is decided outside of his office. The President is a placeholder and no more. That situation will pertain until the inevitable backstabbing and bloodletting behind the scenes produces a Strongest Man who will then be the new American Joe Stalin.

Will RFK Jr. get the kind of fanatical devotion from younger Democratic voters that Bernie Sanders got in 2016 and to a lesser extent in 2020? It seems like he may appeal to a similar demographic, but I don’t think he has the personality to create the kind of buzz that Sanders did.
