Nope, it started in Washington D.C. and FDR's rDNA vaccine for Federalism.
It just took a couple of generations for the side-effects to be noticeable.
Liberals are indeed a disease-but Austin has been a liberal city since I can remember-it certainly was in the early 70’s-it was like a dangerous adventure to wonderland for those of us who lived in the country. Nothing has changed, other than now we need to put a fence around Austin, charge a high admission price from tourists to go there, book a hotel room, etc and have anyone who does sign a release of liability-Austin isn’t turning anyone else into anything-it is just a dangerous tourist attraction like it has been for years...
