I don’t think so. I think he will run and be installed regardless of his health. He is providing the cover-up for too many people for them to let anyone else into the White House at this point. They don’t need him to be sentient. They can pump him up with enough drugs and trot him out when necessary (just as they do now). Jill can sign his name to any documents necessary — just as most wives do.
