MOSCOW, July 17 (Reuters) - Russia has suspended its participation in the Black Sea grain export deal, the Kremlin said on Monday.
The deal, brokered by the United Nations and Turkey last July, aimed to alleviate a global food crisis by allowing Ukrainian grain blocked by the Russia-Ukraine conflict to be exported safely.

This is NOT a surprise to anyone. Russia made it clear they would shut down Ukrainian grain exports by sea, if the bridge was damaged.
The grain deal was already in dispute and temporarily halted because of lack of payment and the grain not going to the country’s in need as required and agreed on in the deal.... So Putin full stopping it now should not be a surprise.
Turkey will always screw anything up it’s hands are in.
There is no grain deal with Russia. The actual grain deal is, the Turkey ignores Russia, clears Ukrainian harbors of mines, and escorts the shipments.
Russia is not going to risk expanding the conflict to Turkey or NATO.
