I wonder if the same people are discussed with abortions?

Better stop them before the Orcas groom them to attack boats.
A personal hunt for personal consumption is one thing. But large scale hunting for commercial trade is entirely different. And understand, I grew up hunting and fishing, it’s family tradition, but we also learned about conservation, respecting the environment, cleaning up after ourselves. Commercial scale hunting of whales I thought ended. So yes I am surprised to see it occurring in Denmark. One does not need to be a member of Green Peace to have that view.
Food? Sounds like the Brits really are going back to whale oil for lights what with their electricity shortages, and all?

Whale meet is actually quite tasty!
Kind of like beef, not at all fishy. Very red, the most red of all the meats. Has a little liver taste.
Highly recommended!

It’s “Nuke the Gay Whales!”.
FUN FACT about the FAROE ISLANDS
all the Mitochondrial DNA is Celtic. All the Y chromosomes are Viking. The place was settled by Vikings and their Irish slave wives.
South Park has a way of telling a story!
There was a whaling station in Richmond, CA, built by Del Monte. It was right next to the Richmond San Rafael Bridge . On some trips across the bridge , you would see the dead whales along side the pier, large pools of blood.
That was the last whaling station operating in the US.
