Who performed the redsctions, and what was the legitimate government purpose of those redactions? If there was none, the redactor should at least face an inquiry, if not criminal charges for the concealment of information.
There is no evidence that the SARS-CoV-2 virus is anything other than a natural bat virus that has since adapted to infecting humans. If it had been deliberately altered, the evidence of that would be very clear in its RNA, because nucleic acids cannot be altered without leaving a trail of evidence.
Next, the experiments that have been called “gain-of-function” are a kind of experiment that is routinely carried out in laboratories all over the world. The Wuhan scientists replaced the spike protein on a human coronavirus with a spike protein from a bat virus to see if the human virus could still infect human cells with a bat virus spike protein. If the human coronavirus is still capable of causing infection when it has a bat coronavirus spike protein, that means that the original bat coronavirus has the potential to infect humans. Replacing a protein in an organism with an analogous protein from a different organism is not “gain-of-function,” no matter how many times conspiracy theorists claim that it is.
Since I doubt that very many people who repeat the conspiracy theories understand much of molecular biology, I will walk through a demonstration that there is no evidence of human manipulation of the viral genome.

A vector is a piece of DNA used in genetic engineering. Any engineered nucleic retains traces of the vector. This is a tool to look for vector contamination of nucleic acid sequences:

To look for traces of vector in the SARS-CoV-2 virus, scroll down the page with the virus sequence until you reach the nucleic acid sequence. The first line looks like this: “1 attaaaggtt tataccttcc caggtaacaa accaaccaac tttcgatctc ttgtagatct.”
Copy the entire nucleic acid sequence (don’t worry about the numbers) and paste it into the VecScreen tool. Click the “Run VecScreen” button. Wait a while, because it takes some time for the VecScreen tool to analyze all 29,881 nucleotides of the virus sequence. After a few minutes, the result will appear, telling you that it found no trace of vector contamination in the sequence.
No vector contamination, no genetically engineered virus.
The closest corroboration I can find for the article’s claim that Dr. Fauci wrote a letter on Feb 1, 2020 warning that that virus might be genetically altered is a letter from the House Oversight Committee dated Jan 11, 2022. Fauci and Collins were first warned that COVID-19 may have leaked from the WIV and, further, may have been intentionally genetically manipulated. Again, it is unclear if either Dr. Fauci or Dr. Collins ever passed these warnings along to other government officials or if they simply ignored them.”
What this means is that someone told Fauci that the virus could have been manipulated, not that Fauci was sitting on information proving that it was altered. This was pure speculation since neither Fauci nor anyone else had any evidence of genetic tampering. There has been enough scientific investigation of the virus in the three and a half years of the pandemic to establish that it is a bat virus which is now human adapted. Tens of thousands of scientists have been analyzing the virus sequence—the chance that they would ALL miss obvious signs of genetic engineering is extremely thin.
Really, continuing to spread every conspiracy theory about Covid does not help the conservative cause at all. On the contrary, it has helped to promote an image of conservatives as uneducated unsophisticated bumpkins.

What was the cdc doing with a bio weapons lab in communist china and Ukraine. Put a bag over Fauci and others at the CDC and release blow flies inside like he did with beagle dogs and ask him for the truth. Once he tells us then leave the bags attached to them all and let the insect larva finish the job.
I worked in a Help Desk job and was supporting internal employees for a large company (near 200,000 people worldwide). One day in Sept 2019 a person had a Dell battery start to expand... It bent the laptop out of shape. The battery, keyboard, mouse trackpad would need to be replaced. I had handled issues like this before as my co-workers did. Orders were placed but nearly 2 months went by before they got the repair parts and Dell showed up to fix the pc. The parts came from china.
One day earlier another co-worker had the same issue and it was completed within a few days like normal. I bet Dell ran out of parts and the delay for the later call was due to getting them from China.
I believe this wuhan virus started much sooner then we have been told.
