[TUCKER CARLSON Hosts the Family Leadership Forum featuring, in order, Tim Scott, Asa Hutchinson, Mike Pence, Haley, Ramaswamy, and DeSantis. Trump turned down an invitation to participate.]
"Tucker Carlson is moderating a series of conversations with most of the major non-Trump GOP presidential candidates Friday in Des Moines hosted by the Family Leader and The Blaze."
"Carlson is expected to spend about half an hour with each candidate, starting with Scott and Hutchinson in the morning, while Pence, Haley, Ramaswamy, and DeSantis are expected in the afternoon. You can rewind the live stream as it plays."

I think Pence should take the course of Jimmy Carter, like his work, already with Samaritan purse and focus on being a Christian conservative, which at his heart he is. He has no political future.
He was a good pick for Trump but he’s a terrible choice in 2024. That discussion with Tucker was painful to watch. He’s out of step with the world we live in right now.
Pence was extremely uncomfortable and tried to thread the needle on J6 and the argument over Ukraine where twice he appears to say the decay in America cities isn’t his concern was a devastating moment.
For later.

DeSantis was OUTSTANDING!!! Tucker and the audience loved him. Vivek was also very, very good.
Some might say that Trrump had nothing to gain in going there. I think that is dead wrong. But he’s rather skilled at dodging
These are VP auditions.
Maybe Pence can be ambassador to Gitmo.
Nikki was polished and comfortable but I don’t think Tucker took her that seriously. He could’ve pressed her on Ukraine as the candidate with key foreign policy experience but he didn’t even ask. She didn’t hurt herself.
Vivek was soft-balled and allowed to talk about vision and why he’s running. And that’s fine and he does these things well. But it doesn’t mean he was treated like the actual politicians running.
DeSantis was a but anxious and fidgety but didn’t hurt himself like Pence or Scott. He has no charisma and gave expected answers trying to appear more MAGA and throw shade at Trump. He didn’t change my mind. At this point I am not interested in voting for him, just watching because he’s considered the front running challenger to Trump.
I didn’t waste my time with Asa.
This wasn’t a venue for Trump because can’t work the crowd in his way. He’s not a policy wonk, he’s a big picture guy and can ramble in his answers. He could have showed up but it could have only hurt him.
He was alright. Not a tingle up my leg thing.
It wasn’t a venue that he would shine at. It doesn’t play to his strengths. I would have liked for him to go but realistically it would have only hurt him.
Yes, I am still watching the balance of pants, he was good for Trump, he’s a good Christian political leader, I do not understand why he’s trying to run for president.
Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelieveable.
I saw Scott’s wandering has trying to take a mile for every inch he was given. He avoided some clear Yes/No questions, but presented himself well. VP Auditions, he made a good showing though I think for that, I’d prefer to see a well-established governor than a Senator. But he didn’t hurt himself, definitely a contender.
Tucker was fantastic. It was a no-holds bar event. I especially loved how he torched Pence. Far as I’m concerned, Pence’s campaign is over now that he admitted that he’s more concerned for Ukraine that the US.

Pence just confirmed for all to see that he is not presidential material, and yes he shot himself in the foot over his comments about being more concerned for Ukraine than the US. I’m ashamed to be from the same state he is from, and if I ever get a chance to tell him that, I will.
It’s almost as though Pence wasn’t listening to Tucker’s question. “That’s not my concern!” Worse he said it twice.
I’m watching/listening through the entire event, giving me a reset on BlazeTV. I’ve held them in low regard since Glenn Beck’s meltdown. Anyway, interesting team and conversation between Tucker’s conversations with the candidates.

No, you are wrong.
Trump had no reason to be there with the lower tier challengers.
But did get your dig at Trump in.
Backfired though.
You a Biden or DeSantis guy?
