Your argument amounts to justifying the war because Russia Invaded Ukraine.
That in and of itself does not make for a justification, how about addressing a few of these more salient points:
1. Why did Russia invade Ukraine?
2. Why does Ukraine deserve our aid?
3. Was Ukraine an actual good actor in this or are they just as corrupt? Have you read about Zelinsky’s actual ideology on religious freedoms and actual western values?
4. if so important why do the European NATO nations not provide anything near the level of support there USA does? Would they be more justified and shouldn’t they be more supportive?
Just because one country invades another does not make it an ipso facto cause for the US to fight another country’s war. I for one believe our children’s lives are worth a bit more consideration.
“I for one believe our children’s lives are worth a bit more consideration.”
A Morally fraudulent argument considering the country and actions you are defending has the stated intention to invade a half dozen other countries after Ukraine.
You are condoning the principle of Might = Right and accepting conquest of nations as an acceptable international principle. How many of “our children’s lives” will be lost when that becomes the norm?
