RE: I don’t hear much about violent crime in Consitutional carry NH.

I’ve heard stories about rural NH and neighborly response to someone unknown at a neighbor’s house.
There’s a reason NH is so safe.
I suspect that demographics play a role.
When BLM was having all their *peaceful protests* a few years ago, they tried one in Manchester. They were escorted by the police and a large crowd of open carrying armed citizens.
At the end of the *parade*, one of the BLM tried to start a fire and vandalism and was stopped cold. There were never any other incidents with that group. THey learned quick enough that that kind of crap was NOT going to fly in NH.
IMO, all the local protests in cities across the country were the BLM testing the waters to see where they could get away with looting, burning, assault, and other forms of anarchy. THey only continued in it where they were allowed to by the local authorities.
Merrimack NH is a great place to live. Moved here 30 years ago. Never worried about locking the car or the house -— though my wife who moved from a high crime city in Massachusetts locks everything.
When I first moved in I loved reading the police blotter entries such as squirrel in garage, driving old man walking home from grocery store, and tree limbs blocking driveways.
I think I recall only 1 or 2 murders in the time I’ve been here - domestic violence. Very little theft or vandalism.
Of course the town council, school board, and reps state level have been consistently right except for a brief period around the time I first moved in when a bunch of lefties snuck in to the school board. We still have a few lefties here and there get elected, but not enough to ruin the town.
