I think our Xfinity smoke alarm gets sent through India. Twice I have gotten calls in my downstairs office and can’t understand the caller so I just hangup figuring it is spam.
Until my wife runs downstairs and says the fire department is here because the smoke alarm went off while she was cooking upstairs!
Disconnected the smoke alarm after the second time.
Yeah, those “connected” alarm systems rarely perform to expectations.
