Mitts and Linda are perfect examples of why the 17th Amendment needs to be repealed.
Prior to the 17th Amendment, there is a very low likelihood either would make it to the Senate. Additionally, repealing the 17th would remove the centralized control of funding candidates the parties and K Street whores currently exercise.
It is well past time to repeal the 17th Amendment and eliminate the Senior Executive Service via a Convention of States with two line items to be voted on, number one repeal the 17th Amendment and two eliminate the senior executive service which is the Deep state.
