Yeah how many schools still have exposed lead based paint shedding dust? How many still have lead water pipes? And there is already huge federal money being dished out to replace lead water pipes. Personally I have never seen one. Can’t be many of those left.

In any case I guess this means the school taxes will take another huge leap as I see no mention as to who is going to pay for removing lead paint which is happily covered by a layer of latex. They already get more than the county/town taxes. And all of this without any vote from congress and without representation.

In the 60’s and seventies there was lead everywhere. Even in school pencils the kids used to chew on. How come the kids today are nowhere near as smart when they leave school? It has nothing to do with fractional amount of lingering lead in schools.

Another way to waste dollars and put screws to folks.

This is no lower an issue, if it ever was.
