The U.S. Secret Service on Tuesday declined to honor a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for communications related to its investigation of the cocaine found at the White House, saying that to release those materials would compromise the investigation.
Bloomberg investigative reporter Jason Leopold posted the response from the Secret Service to his request, in which the agency stated that "disclosure could reasonably be expected to interfere with enforcement proceedings."
The rest of the letter outlined Leopold's options to challenge that determination but offered no other explanation for the agency's refusal.

But they're not enforcing. Not law anyway.
Sorry, this shows you are wrong since if it had been anybody else than who most of us suspect it was then the Secret Service wouldn’t be embarrassing themselves by covering up their information. A big scandal here since Secret Service is now in COVERUP mode.
So when does the arrest of “The Prodigal Junkie” occur?
FYI. Jason Leopold in the news.
It’s Kamala.
It will impede the investigation we are not doing
Covering up for one of the bidens.
I bet Jill secretly hopes that Hunter gets busted. I can tell from their body language that they HATE each other.

So this means all of us citizens can decline to honor requests from now on. Right? Anyone?
“Bloomberg investigative reporter Jason Leopold”
Isn’t Leopold the self admitted schizo/drug addict who worked for an outlet known as “Truthout” and reported around 2006 that “Dick Cheney will be indicted for outing Valeria Plame and has been given 48 hours to get his private affairs in order”??
Good to see the quality of reporters at Bloomberg
See my post from 30 sec ago- #12
Who found the cocaine?
How did that information become public?
“Which pretty much confirms the culprit is You-Know-Who. The Secret Service knows who it is but Daddy’s order is to LEAVE SONNY BOY ALONE, DAMMIT!!!”
You nailed it! Then again, who honestly did not see this coming?
From this point on, anybody who utters the phrase: “No One Is Above The Law” should have their larynx crushed.
Well, this just proves that the most OBVIOUS explanation IS the explanation. If any regular staffer had been the perp, there is no way the Secret Service would risk ruining its reputation by covering up for such a person. They probably don’t want to cover up for Hunter but Daddy is DEMANDING that Sonny Boy be protected at all costs especially since it would SINK his DOJ sweetheart deal.
.
Do you see a pattern?
McCarthy tells them not to cooperate, while he blocks an Impeachment Inquiry where the House would have plenary subpoena Power.
Impeach Inquiry stops all the Blocking.
Ill take Hunter for $500 Alex. 😏
I knew there was a reason why I remembered that name.
Yes. In other words this is like a spy novel where the undercover US agent could be discovered and face death if the court testimony made certain inferences come to light.
Ha. This bumbling US Government carefully working like a well oiled machine? Don’t make me laugh.
