Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar has made what appears to be the clearest admission yet that Ukrainian forces were responsible for an attack last October on the bridge connecting Russia and Crimea, which Moscow has controlled since it seized the peninsula in 2014.

Listing 12 Ukrainian achievements since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion 500 days ago, Maliar wrote on Telegram: 273 days ago, (we) launched the first strike on the Crimean bridge to disrupt Russian logistics."

That bridge was a legitimate logistical target; and it was struck in October of last year. And there is a huge difference between taking out a bridge from a logistical standpoint (which just stopped traffic) and taking out a dam that caused great damage to civilians and infrastructure alike.

But, you wouldn’t understand that.

“Jez… I somehow don’t remember Ukraine denying responsibility.”

That’s because it didn’t deny it.

The russian leadership is not better or morally superior to ours. Most are still seething commies. Its the same dam reasons we dislike our leadership.

Its just two different groups of socialists going at it. Why anyone thinks one side has the moral high ground isn’t paying attention.

The Russian leadership is not better or morally superior to ours.

Honestly don't know, there is to little factual data in the West to make that evaluation, and everything the Western MSM produces is Disinformational Propaganda.

Eastern news sources will be naturally biased toward those that agree with their positions and policy.

Neither gives a proper view of the people, politics or policy of Russia.

However, I have a very clear understanding of the quality, politics and policy of Americans from personal experience, so I can make an evaluation of Americans, American Government and Media over a considerable timeline.

...we dislike our leadership.

I agree that thinking Americans at least dislike our leadership.

Its just two different groups of socialists going at it.

I can confirm that the American Elite and Deep Swamp are Radical Socialists, however I cannot confirm that the Russians are nearly as Radical at this time. A hundred years ago, the situation would have been reversed.

Why anyone thinks one side has the moral high ground isn’t paying attention.

Yes, no one has the the moral high ground until the war has an absolute Victor.

It is that Victor who will write the history and inform us whom the humanitarian giants are that saved the world.

The losers will agree with their silence, ... one way or another.

Most of the russian leadership are socialists. Its not rocket science. Many feel Putin isn’t strong enough and want to go back to a more soviet style of govt and control.

They don’t change just because a wall comes down.

Personally I think it was the biggest soviet head fake we ever collectively missed.

Most of the Russian leadership are socialists.

That may be true.

Most of the American leadership are socialists.

That certainly is true.

Many feel Putin isn’t strong enough and want to go back to a more soviet style of govt and control.

I'm sure some do, not sure about "many". Russians are capable of learning from experience, and the Russian experience with Socialist Communism is a whopping loss of creativity, innovation and individual productivity.

The recent Russian trajectory of weapons development reflects a significant increase in creativity, innovation and individual productivity supported at the State level. That is contrary to Communist policy.

Additionally, those that feel Putin isn't strong enough seem unable to do anything about his popularity, and don't have many visible followers themselves, though it is possible Russia has a Deep Swamp too.

They don’t change just because a wall comes down.

True, however I believe it is better described as Failure To Adapt than "change" because they will suffer the fate of those that fail to adapt. Time will tell.

Personally I think it was the biggest soviet head fake we ever collectively missed.

Again, you may be right, however, considering how the Western Media portray the Western "Civilization" and the value of the various groups of people in it, this could be the biggest Prog Socialist head fake we ever collectively missed.
