Has there been any reporting on the cause(s) of all these Canadian fires? Has anyone claimed responsibility? Any arrests? I saw a map of the fires only today (July 8) — hundreds of them from coast to coast, with many burning completely out of control. It’s simply not believable that all were caused by lightning strikes. I suspect arson is now an ongoing problem (here in the U.S. as well) but the media won’t report it for fear of inspiring copycats.
