I think the Deep State will be more concerned with their own skins, than the country. The would just move to New Zealand, Brussels, or wherever their bugout shelters are located.

They desire more than all else power—not plain, semi-hopeful survival even in a lavish shelter.
They aren’t giving up their tools of control, no way, no how.
If Russia is a danger to THEM (don’t think us, but them, the Deep State), they’ll take—or try to take them out.
