BREAKING: They just leaked a story to the @nytimes and President @JoeBiden National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan will be appearing @WhiteHouse briefing room tomorrow to defend it: NYT reporting that Biden is considering providing banned munitions to Ukraine. He will supply Ukraine with cluster munitions, disregarding international consensus not to use them because they cause severe injuries to civilians and US allies ban them. The decision carries implications for humanitarian concerns and global unity.

Simon’s a foreign corespondent. He most likely was thinking ‘banned’ in terms of other countries. I have no idea what their status is under US law.

Cluster munitions are “ banned” for use against civilian populations. However, the US, Russia and China have NOT signed onto that agreement. When the Ukies start to use them on civilian centers- Look out!

‘If’ they were ‘banned’, we would not have them to give. I would like to see what ‘cluster munitions’ they are planning to give. They are going through the arty tubes we gave them, they have no success in the air, so it must be for the ATACMs, which should never had been done anyway, another waste of our $$$$$.
