The judge in her case against Scott would not grant her a hearing over her reinstatement. He left the decision about her future up to the new Governor. DeSantis chose to accept her original resignation letter, and let her walk away.
If it’s the case about the destruction of some ballots, they had copies. She was going to fight the suspension because destroying ballots that had copies apparently wasn’t illegal. That would’ve cost Florida more lawyers’ fees and court-time. With the wrong judge, we could’ve lost it. There are plenty of Democrat holdovers from decades of Democrat rule in Florida.
We want to see people go to prison, but then we’d have to pay for their keep and medical expenses. I’d rather reserve that for violent criminals. Getting her out of office and off the state payroll removed her from power and that works for me. God will take care of the rest. May she repent beforehand.
