My family came from Western Canada. He saw injustice and followed Louis Real into rebellion. When Real lost we fled south into America. My great uncle always said; “ Had to leave Canada because I killed a couple of men-its OK, they were just Englishmen.” A new leader will rise in Canada as it will in the United States, then things will be set right.
We were taught Riel was a traitor and rightfully hung. Of course now I see it wasn’t the case.
Very interesting history. Western separation is a very real possibility at this point. We’re in uncharted times. Keep faith in God and his word and let the chips fall where they may.
