"Those men risked everything for the future of their nation. Some were tortured, others died penniless, and more still had their homes ransacked and burned or their families scattered and imprisoned.
Philadelphia is an image of the 'progress' evil men have sold us:"
The Founders could not have envisioned what their beloved city would turn into today.

Why are so many people bowed down with their heads almost to the ground? I think I have read that is caused by using a particular illegal drug.
Thankfully, I am quite ignorant about such.

...hasn’t there been reported yet another “mass shooting” in The City of Brotherly Love [sic] over night or some such...? again, it was an “AR-type rifle” that did all the shooting...5 people dead and other wounded...??

I was recently in downtown Denver for a couple of days and I was shocked at how bad it has become compared to only a few years ago.
To odor of feces, urine, and vomit is overwhelming. Sadly, most of the zombies appear to be young adults or even older teens and there are hundreds of them all over the sidewalks.
It was surreal and I don’t see how the core of our cities can survive this.

Check the demographics of the population and the party that preys on depending upon them for the answer.
Also being born and raised there the ethnicity of the city lost its distinctive character of truly melding all nationalities.
Now it’s one versus the rest

Sixty years ago Philadelphia was a Republican city. It was the fourth largest city in America and an industrial giant. Today, it the corporate home of Comcast/MSNBC. It is the sixth largest city in America and run by Democrats. Crime has been a problem for decades, but no solution can be found. Education basically sucks outside a couple high schools and Catholic schools. The sense of neighborhood and community no longer exists as it once did. Some neighborhoods are no-go zones.
Tourist tip: When you see writing on the wall, don’t go there.

The demographics tell the story. Coming to a city or area where you are today. The best advice given is that to get away from them. They wish us dead and are showing the proof of this hypothesis daily.

I’m afraid that it is, every RAT run city looks like that now. We were in Seattle a couple of months ago, it pretty much looks the same. Albuquerque is pretty bad too as is every large city.

The saving factor for northern cities is winter. It gives Mother Nature a chance to clear out the garbage and clean the streets, at least of the small stuff. Then spring arrives, and the new cycle of weeds starts again.

Philly is a city with a great sense of civic duty, as shown by the precincts that have 105% voter turnout.

I just re-watched the documentary on The Broad Street Bullies (Philadelphia Flyers) the other night.
Philly was a tough place then, but the folks were even tougher, and that’s why they embraced the Flyers, even the black people, who probably never had even heard of hockey, loved them.
I miss blue collar America, at least then the Unions were patriotic.
