Apparently no one could tell him anything once the cyclic damage was occuring.
From several accounts he was warned repeatedly that the vehicle was no longer safe to those depths.
I just watched the I-52 exploration last night. It is at 3 miles down. Wow
Repeated dives in proper vehicles. Don’t know if they used both vehicles.
They are now decommissioned and on museum display.
