Who says you can’t mix bullets in your mag? what was the caliber. I alternate hardball and hollow points.
I alternate jacketed hollow points and FMJ in my GP-100 intentionally. Just in case I have to shot through something that would stop a hollow point.>>> Ditto with all my mags.

With a revolver you can load various rounds of .38 Special. That revolver holds 5 shots. It has no magazine, but a cylinder with 5 holes to drop the rounds of ammo into.
