Trump stated that the “Marxism, fascism, communism, and the radical left socialism” he says is being thrust on students in classrooms across the country is not only hostile to religion, but “it now resembles established religion of its own, adding:
The Marxist left, and other lunatics preaching radical ideology, have become a cult with their own creeds, and their own mantras, and their own rituals. Instead of taking children to church, they believe in taking children to drag shows. You see what’s happening?’… Instead of teaching them to say their prayers, they teach them to recite their pronouns.
Trump said that he would direct his Department of Justice to legally pursue schools that engage in “these militant and country-destroying practices” under the “Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause of our Constitution.”

Moreover, he reiterated his plan to “implement massive funding preferences for all states and school districts” that commit to the following actions:
“Abolishing teacher tenure for grades K-12 so we can remove bad teachers.”
“Adopting merit pay so we can reward the great teachers.”
“Implementing complete curriculum transparency so that parents have the right to see 100 percent of the material their children are being taught in school.”
“And very importantly, adopting a program of universal school choice.”
Good, that’s the Trump I want.
Just cut ALL Federal spending to schools when you eliminate the Dept of Education
Let states fund their schools.
If Fed.gov wants academic research into particular areas (space, defense, geology, etc...) they can fund that from a particular Department

Better yet, get the GD federal government completely OUT of all education. Out of preschool. Out of K-12. Out of the universities.
The nation works a lot better when there is zero federal gov interference because, if you take their money, you have to dance to their tune.

If the FedGov has the power to fire the incompetent socialist progressive teachers the next Rat president (and there will be one!) had the power to hire them! The precedent will have been established by Trump.
They should just eliminate all federal government funding.

How bout dissolving the Dept of Ed!
It will take legislation. So, a MAGA-oriented Congress will be required. He’ll need to make allies there to get it done. EOs won’t do the trick. Also, the president lost the power of impoundment in 1974.

THIS is a winning issue for Trump, one that I completely agree with. The best way to deal with public universities that indoctrinate rather than educate is by removing taxpayer funds. They can teach what they want, but they can also pay for it themselves.
You guys know the President cannot abolish or de-fund Cabinet Departments, right?
