That’s FIGHTING WORDS for the Neocon Supporters...even if is true. They spend their GNP on manufacturing, particularly military items, we spend ours on Lawyers and DEI. Heck, we even need to hire back a bunch of old farts just to build Stingers...which have to be redesigned and built with parts and materials from CHINA, whether we like it not.
We also spend our GDP on bloated Government. In many locales in places like IL, NY, CA - government expenditure, especially including "education" and its vast bureaucracy, is often 70% of the local economy.
One of the ironies of all this is that the NeoCons who want globalist wars against everyone, are also big free traders.
So they supported the trade policies that made sure the USA would not have the industrial base to take on a peer opponent war.
