Seems so far taking territory has proved more difficult then defending it.

That utterly misses the point. Russia is focused on destroying Ukrainian military capabilty. When they try to hold hardened fortifications the Russians rain down a living hell of artillery until it is reduced to rubble, brick by brick, stone by stone and concrete wall by concrete wall. It's messy work and tiring and requires lots and lots of explosives-which is why the huge Russian advantage in mass production of inexpensive artillery shells is important. It's nothing new. We are fighting WWI trench warfare all over again, but the West fell into a trap of their own making because that just isn't a thing in current doctrine.

A couple of high precision strikes with irreplaceable multi-million dollar missiles and the enemy goes poof is present doctrine.

Russians are a bunch of incompetent fools and are not capable of what you say. They are not known for industrial productivity or mass production. It takes much longer to fulfill military orders and Russia is so inefficient and corrupt that their products are grossly inferior.

Russia has a gdp of 1.7 trillion. The us has a gdp of 22 trillion then when you factor in the gdp of all the other nations in the free world that are backing Ukraine. then you can see why Russia will run out of ammo first.

Try again Ivan.
