[Trump had 50,000 people showing up at his rallies, Biden maybe 50. And Biden is who Americans wanted???? Fat chance

If we don’t fight to end election fraud we are hosed.]

Rallies are expensive wastes of money and more of an exercise in ego-stroking than anything else. Romney had big rallies. He got a bigger % of the popular vote than Trump in both of Trump’s elections. And Romney was running against Obama, universally acknowledged to be a rare political talent with stratospheric approval ratings even today, whatever his shortcomings as president.

The Romans used to hold rallies, but only after big military victories. They called them triumphs.

Reagan seldom held rallies. He won 44 states on his first try and 49 on his second. Popular vote margin was 10% in 80, 18% in 84.

Truer words have never been spoken on FR!

Rallies give the base a quick pep rally fix and the large crowds give them over-confidence, which makes it easy to fall into complacency and not get actively engaged at the grassroots level.

Meanwhile the Dims are being super energized by scenes from the rallies.
