The Hebrew Bible was written in about 600 BCE. Well before the books of the New Testament. What is pejoratively called Greek Mythology was founded over 800 years before Christianity. Everything in western religion could be considered paste since then.
Start with the Sermon on the Mount… nothing pasted about that. It is a repudiation of religious works. Matthew 5-7.
As far as I can see the only thing pasted was the fulfilled promises of God in Jesus Christ and the moral law of God, which is unchanged.
The ceremonial and civil laws were replaced by expanding the moral law. No one can keep that either… this requires an acceptance of the sacrifice and acceptance thereof of Jesus to allow the work of the Holy spiritual to I dwell and set your trajectory toward holiness.
So just to pile on - Christianity’s principles are based on those found in Zoroastrianism, which goes back 6000 years at the minimum.
