Yep. As the commercial real estate crash continues, municipal budgets are going to start being cut and enforcement will decline even more. Street gangs will again rule. The spiral down has begun and will only increase in speed until complete collapse. Many of America's cities will follow the same path as Detroit.
The current generation will see working at home as the norm, just as many of us saw working in the office as the norm. My Grandfather worked in the field behind plow horses, my father in a coal mine and I worked in an office. Technology has begun this next major transition in human life. Remember the movie Judge Dredd? That is not an unrealistic vision of what the future might be.
