Nobody should ever have passed laws to infringe on gun ownership in the first place.
This won't stop until citizens take matters into their own hands.
Gun ownership is one thing. Lawfully using them in self defense is another. However, when anarchy rules like in the streets of Chicago, evidence is hard to get.

Yeah some states use different laws. Some won’t allow castle doctrine IF the person who owned the home “didn’t try to retreat” first, which is asinine because as soon as you “retreat” and leave the home, you are no longer covered by the castle doctrine should the criminal pursue the person outside, and it negates a person’s ina,ienable right to defend their home and family who would still be inside when the criminal decides to go back in.
But I guess whe. The homeowner is outside is where the “stand your ground” comes into play then- some states are very strict with what constitutes stand your ground requirements, some not so much.

It’s amazing to me that citizens rights are attacked by lawyers who want to throw the book at them, while criminals who use guns often get charges for having guns s illegally dropped and face less harsh sentences

On the bright side, I get the USCCA magazine every month. The first thing I do is turn to the section on stories about justified shootings. All the cases are clear examples of justified self defense. So it can be done.
Left wing prosecutors love cases that demonstrate that normal people shouldn’t be allowed to own guns. They minimize cases about criminals who possess guns because they show that gun regulations are worthless.
