Watching local Miami media...they are BIG MAD: permitless gun carry, employers cannot hire illegal aliens, and people with gender dysphoria cannot use the wrong public toilet.

Yep, the media is enraged at common sense

The “make everything illegal and only apply laws against your enemy” plan goes on unabated.

"Those sound like good laws"

Of course there was a time not so long when this was a conservative tenet:

“The best government is that which governs least.”

Times do change however.

Of course they are, as their decades-long hegemony suddenly finds itself being rolled back piece by bloody piece. At the state level, Florida is leading this trend, but just look at the FedGov's rage at the recent SCOTUS decision about 'affirmative action'.

These Marxists are so used to getting their way that any pushback makes them go apoplectic. Be a shame if some of them had a stroke... just saying.

We just got back from a trip to Okeechobee this past Saturday. Talked to a builder or two to build a home on our 10 acres.

385-400K is our budget ... and it seems that you can only get a 1400+ size home for that price and at least 1 yr to build ... man is it EXPENSIVE to build down there.

Were tired of the endless winters here in NH, just hope the housing market up here holds on for another year or so, so our home can sell for close to that amount.

Just thinking that we need a law to ensure that people use the bathroom that corresponds to their sex is mind boggling.

I think it’s still a sellers market. Homes around us selling for crazy high prices.

No laws on the “incorrect” use of pronouns?

“The best government is that which governs least.”

Looser gun restrictions fall in that category.

“look at the FedGov’s rage”

Is it the FedGov’s or just Biden’s and the libs?

"Is it the FedGov’s or just Biden’s and the libs?"

Well, seeing as how the Marxist Deep-Staters (aka "the libs") occupy about 99% of the seats of power in DC, I'd say they're one and the same.

The five key reasons for Florida now going more conservative are:

(1) A conservative Republican as Governor, DeSantis;

(2) After the last election, the Florida legislature has GOP super-majorities in both chambers, which means that the Democrats can be ignored in that they lack the numbers to use delaying tactics to bargain for legislative compromises;

(3) Florida now has more registered GOP voters statewide than Democrats;

(4) The GOP base is energized by the vile Biden administration; and

(5) Although the larger urban local Democratic organizations remain potent, the Florida Democratic Party is in near collapse statewide with little money or staff for their headquarters.

Maybe so. I pray that the next election will give us some relief.

The more important reasons Florida is ‘going more conservative’

Cleaning up FL voter rolls, Real ID, and voting integrity.

No more fraud = no more democrat politicians

Although there is some vote fraud in Florida, it tends to be concentrated in heavily Democratic counties and does not affect most legislative districts.

We won’t know that without audits.

And if you read the election security bill FL passed last August, all 130+ pages, you’ll find that FL didn’t really secure its elections.
