I don’t see them needing this to finish off the hohos. I’d guess they are looking past hohos and planning in case they need to fight an all out war against nato....
I think that is what Biden wants, to get us into a ground war with Russia.
Hard to say 6 months should see American boys fighting in Ukraine snow against “Evil” incompetent Russians who will give up at the first sign of an American flag. The war will be over by Christmas and a new government in Moscow. Russia will bow to our will. A rainbow flag will fly over the ruins of the Kremlin. We can give 1/2 of Russia to China (They will love us) and Russia will be broken into ten states—all applying for NATO Membership. It will be a whole new world! Putin will be the last evil tyrant in a federated peoples world ran by the UN.

Exactly. What I find amusing is the fact the US has declared they want to bleed Russia…. But it is obvious Vlad is now bleeding out the West.

Nato and the US have comprehensive air superiority over Russia. Nothing on the ground, or air, can exist for long vs a full spectrum Nato air offensive.
The only reason Russia is competitive vs Ukraine is because its fighting only Ukraine, with very limited supplies from abroad. Ukraine is still undersupplied and underarmed across the board, especially with airpower.
Let’s not forget the NATO-imposed Rules of Engagement UKR has to follow. Such as not attacking Russia proper. This is how Russian aircraft have survived up to now -by flying inside Russian airspace to avoid UKR air defense.
With Russia’s attack on NATO advisors the ROE may soon change making Russian aircraft flying inside Russia targeted by air defense missiles inside Ukraine. Russians can target UKR aircraft inside UKR but Ukraine can’t target Russian aircraft inside Russia in return? This type of policy favors the enemy at the expense of allies. It’s what lost Vietnam. End it.

Also don’t forget Russia’s “Rules of Engagement”, as that is why London, DC, and other Western Capitals still exist, as the Western countries have made themselves LEGITIMATE war targets by OPENLY saying that the weapons they are dumping into Ukraine is for the purpose of killing Russians.

Minus all the parts that make them modern tanks - a T-80 from 2019 is not the same tank made in 2023 - newly minted 2023 Russia tank is far inferior to ones made before the invasion, from the quality of its ball bearings to its all important sighting, ranging and targeting parts.
TOS-1A thermobaric vehicles fare no better.
T-80BVM are inferior to the T-90M series.
Are they cloning crews as well ?

For about one week ( 5 days), the US’s 6,000 mile supply line bodes not well compared to Vlad’s 600 kilometer supply lines. NATO is spent after 5 days, a week at the most…. after that re- supply issues will dictate the outcome.
The US and Europe hold a massive edge in tactical aircraft, in technology, and far more than enough tactical munitions (consider just the SDB’s) to swamp Russian air defenses and devastate everything on the ground that Russia can bring to a Nato border.

And all that supported by recon and intelligence assets, integrated EW systems and vastly better logistics. The Russian logistics system will wither away quickly too btw. Their rail and road net is NOT dense.
The “collective Russian resolve” is not delivering in fact what they (or maybe just you) assert they will.
At base, the most fundamental matter, you guys still have manpower/recruiting problems, and there is no rush to volunteer for this glorious war. Indeed, when the government tried to actually mobilize there was a rush to flee, as we saw. There was no 1914 spirit at all.
There is therefore a disjunct between “resolve” and revealed preference.
