RFK is putting huge pressure on the D’s now. He’s polling at 20% and I remember 1968 when McCarthy knocked LBJ off the ticket.
The D’s need to put a Hubert Humphrey out fairly soon to make sure RFK doesn’t walk with the nomination or put up such a serious fight that he cripples whatever national security state candidate the D Establishment wants. And that means letting ol’ Joe know soon that he is not welcome on the 2024 ticket and making him accept that.
It’ll be interesting to watch. R’s in Congress will play right into the D plan if they make this Biden Biden Biden. Biden is gone. Where R’s in Congress can actually do something good is to focus on weaponization of DOJ, FBI, CIA instead of making it all about Biden. But it’s far more important to let the public know in their bones what horribly corrupt pieces of crap our formerly trusted federal agencies have become.
