Former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) said Wednesday on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” that it would be a “disaster” if the Republican Party nominated former President Donald Trump in 2024 and “dangerous” if he wins, which would be possible.

In other words, a top Republican is saying that it would be a "disaster" unless Republicans continue losing. Is that correct?

Not correct. He said we will continue to lose with Trump.

Trump has a strong base but doesn’t pull in the centrists resulting in our loses.
