Leaders in some European countries neighboring Belarus have raised security concerns as the founder of the Wagner mercenary group is believed to have arrived in Belarus after aborting his mutiny in Russia.
A state-run news agency in Belarus reported Tuesday that President Alexander Lukashenko had revealed Yevgeny Prigozhin is in the country.
Lukashenko also reportedly said he has offered Wagner fighters the use of an abandoned base in his country[Emphasis added].
A Russian independent media outlet said new camps for Wagner troops are being built in Belarus.

Now we hear of of an "abandoned air base" being offered to the "exiled" Chef/General by the Belarussian President, Lukashenko--while future Wagner bases are now under construction.
Somehow this move of Prigozhin and an unknown number of Wagner mercenaries into a country with strategic nuclear arms in place and run by Alexander Lukashenko is unsettling.
Seems like pouring a dose of red fuming nitric acid into an already unstable concotion.
All of a sudden, you don’t mess with Belarus, unless you want to play around and find out. I am talking to you, Euroweenies.
Perhaps the reason that Europe is SCARED SHIITELESS of a few thousand convicts is because they’re now virtually disarmed, having dumped nearly everything they had into Ukraine.
How will Blinkin and Biden's State Department react if Belarus overtly threatens Ukraine from the North?
Despite the Belarusian nukes, will Biden move to take out this threat by any means necessary?
To paraphase your description--Biden's handlers have dumped nearly everything they have--billions--into the conflict.
That Wagner exists at all matters more than where they are located.
Perhaps the reason that Europe is SCARED SHIITELESS of a few thousand convicts is because they’re now virtually disarmed, having dumped nearly everything they had into Ukraine.

Huh? You really need to “ catch up”. Let me help.
Wagner is legendary, especially in Russia. They are an “ arm” of the Russian Federation, financed and armed by the Russian State, they are in Syria, Africa and a few other places where Russia has interests.
Two, their leadership and senior officers are ex- Spetsnaz, ex-Russian military with years of experience in conflicts around the world.
Three, 30,000 are being relocated to three bases outside of Minsk.
Four, they have given our Pentagon massive headaches, they fear them. They ( like our Blackwater, Dyncorp, etc) are commonly not held to military or Geneva rules. In short, they get things done that the Federation’s military could not do.
Five, they recruit , like the French Foreign Legion, misfits, convicts, undesirables as the “ cannon fodder” for front line duty. They are very, very good at what they do.
Most analysts realize they have been placed in Belarus to give the Russian Federation plausible denial. Most importantly, should NATO or especially Poland
Do something really, really stupid, Wagner will be the first line of defense in countering their moves.
Hope this helps you out.
“Huh? You really need to “ catch up”. Let me help. Wagner is legendary, especially in Russia.”
LOL, I’m just tweaking the Europeans here, who seem to want World War 3 even more than their Nazi Grandfathers wanted World War 2.
If there was a “smoke screen” with this whole wagner revolt...this would be it.
But I’m sure our satellites will pick up anything if it was actually going to be a threat.
ALL part of the plan.
The Wagner fighters will be in Belarus. The question is will they be supplied with ammunition, and various military vehicles and replacement parts? The Russian military does not trust them and views them as a potential threat.
The Wagner group is likely to not be part of the Russian military supply chain for a long time.
That means that they will not be combat ready to carry out any critical missions on behalf of Moscow. They do not trust the Russian military, they have already seen too many of their soldiers loose their lives needlessly on behalf of Russia.
They are not going to be a serious threat to Eastern Europe nor Ukraine. They have been moved to the side of the chess board until the game is over.
Very good to hear that this dangerous military force is basically neutered while it remains in Belarus.
Will be interesting to observe their activities as they begin to occupy Luckashenko's abandoned air base and their new camps now under construction.
No doubt our Intelligence agencies here and abroad are already focusing intensely on developments in Belarus.
Meanwhile, let's see what happens to the Prigoshin mystery--he has to emerge into public view in the very near term--or perhaps he will never be seen again in this world.
They will be closer to Smolensk and Moscow than to any European or Ukrainian border.
"Smolensk. 200 miles east of Minsk. 200 north of Kursk. 1500 miles west of Omsk."
The actual locations of the Wagnerian airbase and camps in Belarus remain to be seen.
But you make a salient point. Does the relocation of Wagner forces from Russia to Belarus put a two-edged sword into the grip of the egotistical Alexander Lukashenko?
