Mr. Biden, 80, disclosed in 2008 in medical reports that he has a history of sleep apnea.Interesting, Joe Biden is skinny. So he should be less likely to use CPAP. But men are more likely to use CPAP than women due to the differences in upper airway anatomy.
If you're snoring, get yourself a sleep test. Reggie White, a famous Defensive End for Green Bay Packers died of Sleep Apena.

Continuous fixed positive pressure (CPAP) applied to the upper airway acts as a pneumatic splint and prevents collapse of the upper airway during inspiration. Nasal CPAP was first described in 198114 and has since become the first line of therapy for OSA. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approves CPAP use in patients with moderate or severe OSA (AHI ≥ 15) and in patients with mild OSA (AHI ≥ 5 – 14.9) that have documentation of one of the following: excessive daytime sleepiness, hypertension, ischemic heart disease, history of stroke, impaired cognition, mood disorder, or insomnia.15

My Dad had difficulty using one.
I put him on O2, at 3 lpm with a nasal cannula. He would sleep through the night. No stopping breathing or snoring. Took O2 sat rates every 30 minutes, through the night and they were always 96%+.
