Stupid question. Anyone has a right to self defense. Ownership of firearms is universal unless surrendered by abuse of that right (assault, murder, et al).

So you would allow ANYONE to own a gun? The second amendment applies to everyone, so yes. Those who misuse their guns should receive appropriate punishment.
