Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin allegedly tried to call Putin en route to Moscow during his mutiny after 'realising he had gone too far' and that he did not have the support of the Russian army.
At around mid-day on June 24, while Wagner soldiers were on their way to Moscow from Rostov-on-Don, Prigozhin allegedly attempted to contact the Kremlin directly.
He 'tried to call Putin, but the president didn't want to speak with him', according to sources close to the Kremlin who spoke to media outlet Meduza.
These sources also believe that Prigozhin likely realised he had 'gone too far' and that his chances of advancing any further were 'dim'.

And I have bridges for sale
LOL
I think his life expectancy is about to be cut short.

Now he knows what us Kremlin Operatives go through when we try to get our paychecks, crappy as they are. Damn PAIN IN THE ASS to get Putin on the phone - wind up with some lady who doesn’t even speak English.
“Allegedly”
Whoops.
You’re right. This whole story doesn’t make any sense.
He might have run out of fuel money on his credit card. Or somebody canceled his card.
I understand he didn’t have support from the other Wagner commanders, either.
Ring Ring
Hello Daily Mail?
This is Vladimir Putin. I’d like to tell you exactly what happened over the weekend.
Why would Putin talk to someone who is obviously on the CIA’s payroll?
He is like Fredo Corleone right now.
It’s the worst. All I ever get is some gibberish too.
As I understand it, the Wagner “officers” are regular Russian military (probably with heavy FSB backgrounds) who have families inside Russia.
Wagner is not that big and certainly not big enough to assault Moscow. I am still wondering if this is some kind of false flag operation to root out dissidents and expose something Putin wants exposed. Just my .02.
I could easily see our elite intelligence types falling for this and sending money.
However, assuming that this is authentic the main gripe of the Chef seems to be that Russia was not fighting the war viciously enough and he disagreed with the strategy of the Kremlin which does not seem focused on total destruction even as that is effectively the result.
Hard to cheer the man if that is true. He is probably the biggest hardliner in Putin’s inner circle so the West would do well to think twice about supporting him.

Yep, maybe we really do need to join the Neocons and DEMAND that World War 3 get started. After all, its been nearly 18 months of messing around, and STILL no cities destroyed.
Perhaps we’re on the wrong side? May our European friends here will accept us, if we agree that it’s a good idea to see Western Cities turned to glass?
I’ll return to my grandpa’s home village in Hungary, or grandma’s in Norway lol.
A good old Rooskie cat fight?
